Welcome to the Butterball Hotline!

Let's talk turkey about our daily journeys. This is our November journaling thread with a little twist. In addition to our normal chat, let's take the time this month to talk about what our weight loss goals for the month are, what we are doing to reach those goals and how we are staying motivated during the holiday time.

There will be daily questions posted to get us talking this month. Life gets busy at this time of the year and we always end up putting ourselves on the back burner. Not this year. It is time we put ourselves at the top of our priority list. So let's talk about it!

Be watching for those questions!

Happy FRIDAY!! Working all day before being off all next week. I've barely worked at all this month but I'm still looking forward to having a week off and not having to spend it at a hospital.

Busy day today. Trudy's sister is stopping by soon to pick some stuff up. First grocery order is due this morning with hopefully the big bird for Thursday. Have a nail appt over lunch, need to run to the bank and second grocery order this afternoon and then dinner out with my brother to finally celebrate Brian's birthday. After that, I'm thinking a good margarita and then sleep in tomorrow morning. Thanksgiving prep starts for real tomorrow.

Weight stayed the same. I'm o…

Happy Friday! Spent a few hours with Mr. Leo last night that kid is so funny. Sad though I didn't get any Lukie time. I get to watch Leo again in the morning then he has a soccer game. After that I would love to get. more christmas shopping done. I don't want to worry about it any longer lol Get it done and over with.

Weight is stuck at 240. I am over these plateau's for damn sure. But I am going to keep trudging along. I can do this.

Have a great weekend.

At least one stinky boy is still a good time. Hope the two of you are having fun this morning. I really need to start thinking about xmas shopping. Hard ones will be MIL now that she will be in assisted living. Not a lot of space for anything.

Just find a small change you can make in your eating and I'm sure that plateau will go away. You got this my dear! Go for it!!

Just popping on before bed! Was watching Wicked and only got halfway through...long movie!

We ran errands for my mom and took her trash out...Belinda is using her car now because an uninsured driver ran a stop sign a week ago and totaled her car. She's fine, but devastated that they're totalling it...it only had 20k miles and wasn't paid off, so she has to start over and buy another. Merry Christmas, right?

Kevin did Uber last week, but today he got a freelance job that will take him awhile and pay a lot, so he's thrilled. He had his interview yesterday and it went really well, so he's hopeful. There's going to be a couple more interviews, so we'…

Haven't watched Wicked yet. Just never seem to be in the right mood. Maybe on my Christmas break.

Yikes on the car. Just happy that Belinda is ok. That is what matters the most. Yeah for Kevin. That is probably a relief. He will get a permanent job soon. Enjoy your Campsgiving. If you lived closer, I have all the camping gear you could need. If it wasn't going to be below freezing around here, I'd suggest we do something similar. Maybe one year we rent a large cabin somewhere.

Just a quick hello. I have been busy checking things off my list. I'm on a roll and got to keep it going.

Mike's cousin died on Sunday. He had brain cancer. Funeral is on Monday. Our anniversary is on Tuesday (30yrs) and MILs birthday is on Wednesday so I really need to get things done this weekend. Eating has been pretty good. Had some trail mix tonight but moving on. Hope the scale moves down.

Good morning. Just a quick stop by. I have to leave for an appt soon. I am so ready to be back to a normal schedule which won't happen until after Thanksgiving.

Working on cleaning out Trudy's apartment and MIL's house. Now turning my attention to Thanksgiving next week. Have the week off thank goodness as I feel like I'm behind. I'm not really but everything seems discombobulated these days.

The service was beautiful. Exactly what she wanted. Got to catch up with some cousins and now am trying to catch my breath a bit. MIL's stuff is being moved this Saturday to her new assisted living place. She will be getting out of rehab either right before Thanksgivin…
