Losing the Holiday Five

TEAM CHALLENGE!! On average, people gain 5 or more pounds over the holidays. Why not get a jump on losing those 5+ pounds instead?


Starting Friday, October 31st, the Holiday Five Challenge will begin with our starting weigh-ins. Use the same weigh-ins you used to wrap up October's Challenge.


As a team, we are shooting to lose 5 pounds per member participating. 5 people participating means we need to lose 25 pounds in November. Each participating team member needs to choose the role they will have with the team. Some ideas include: team captain, fitness guru, nutritionist, cheerleader, motivator, water goddess, etc. Anything you want to head up. Be as creative as you would like. We all need to play our part in keeping each other motivated and on the right track this month.

Check this thread everyday for what your team mates are posting and to add your daily posts to keep your team mates losing right along with you. What you post for your position is up to you. The more active we are, the more we will be motivated to lose our Holiday Five.

Progressive Exercise Challenge:

MONDAY: 1 minute side steps

TUESDAY: 10 bicep curls, 1 minute side steps

WEDNESDAY: 10 side bend each side, 10 bicep curls, 1 minute side steps

THURSDAY: Dance to 1 song, 10 side bends, 10 bicep curls, 1 minute side steps

FRIDAY: 10 overhead presses, Dance to 1 song, 10 side bends, 10 bicep curls, 1 minute side steps
