Hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend! I've been so busy that I didn't get a chance to pop on here!
On Thursday, we took my Mom to her oncologist appt, which was moved earlier... she's doing fine. We went shopping at Kohl's after that because she needed a few things.
On Friday, I had a 7am appt with a new doc...an endocrinologist...to figure out why I can't lose weight, diabetes, no testosterone, etc. So, he put me back on Mounjaro (I had stopped taking it 2 weeks ago), has me eating 3 full meals with no snacks, wants me to go to bed earlier and wake up earlier for circadian rhythm, isn't putting me on testosterone (I'm okay withou…
Doug and I had such a great day yesterday at the Wilds. Def worth every single penny we paid for it. We did a wildside tour and got to get up close and personal with the animals.. We got to pet a Rhino. Feed a giraffe got chased down by a ostrich. So cool. We will def go back again and again I Love that place with my whole heart! We had such a great tour guide. She was amazing.. Instead of a 2 hour tour. We had a 3 hour tour. And the rain held off till the last 10 minutes. So while we got wet it was manageable lol Pics on the other thread.
Not sure what today…
Been a little rainy around here but have still had to water. My plants survived the colder temps and only had to cover them one night. Now back into the highs 70s and low 80s which I can tolerate. Heading out to the lake today but hoping to come back on Sunday as I need to get my billing done, laundry done and heading to Mooseheart, IL on Wednesday. Hoping to make it either to Davenport or Des Moines the 1st night. Haven't been too busy but just running errands takes up a day which we did yesterday. Today will be packing for the weekend. Love camping but hate packing up the food we will need for the weekend…
Looks like some will be traveling and some staying home this weekend. To those traveling be safe. To everyone else. I hope you have a fun and safe holiday weekend. Going to be a rainy wet one here. We do not need anymore rain. We need it to dry up here. All we have gotten is rain. UGH
Not a lot going on here.. The wilds tomorrow I am so excited I can't wait! even though it is going to rain. I don't care lol It will be fun no matter what
I'm with Kim. Happy Friday!! At 5:00 I'm officially on vaca until next Wednesday. YEAH! Was talking through weekend plans with hubby this morning and realized that we will be busy this weekend. Hopefully by Monday, I can have a couple of down days.
We are going out to dinner with my friend Cindy tomorrow and then hoping to finish the mulching on Saturday. Better mow that day too. Sunday will be visiting in-laws and cemetaries. Hoping to finish getting flowers for my bed out front. Weather is suppose to be great all weekend. I will find some time to visit Margritaville too.
