July is the month we feel the most patriotic. Red, White and Blue surrounds us. We live in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. Those who came before us fought for our freedom. Now it is our time to fight. We are not fighting for our country, but we are fighting for our health. We are fighting to gain the freedom to live long lives with those we love.
July is going to be a team effort. We all have our own sets of health issues – heart, diabetes, kidney disease, liver issues, joint problems, etc. The one common denominator is being over weight. We have been working at losing weight for most of our lives. It is easier to give in than get back up and continue fighting. Do a little soul searching. Are you really fighting to lose weight or are you just living with the status quo? Meanwhile, each doctor visit is bringing a reminder of why it is important for us to fight for our health.

What to Expect
Since summer is always a busy time for our schedules, I’m going to keep the boards simple yet allow you the freedom to personalize each to fit your current health battles. While you concentrating on your own issues, sharing those fights will help others who are facing similar issues. We are in this together. Our own brigade, so to speak.
What's Happening in July
So it is time to pick ourselves up by our boot straps and march forward to our liberty and freedom. Who’s with me? Have your camera's ready, trips to the farmer's market planned and be ready to find some summertime adventures. Let's support each other in our journey through July.
The boards this month include:
Watching Fireworks - Journal Thread
Read, White and Blue - Weight loss and Information Thread
Give Me Liberty... Nutrition Challenge
Give Me Freedom... Fitness Challenge
Snapshots of Paradise -- Pics of our outdoor adventures
Check out all of the threads. Reminder - To see just the July boards, click on the July 2026 category at the top of the posts.

Thanks Laura!🎆🎇🤩
