This is our journaling thread. In addition to chatting with each other, keep a private journal this month. We all know that tracking our nutrition and fitness leads to better weight loss results. Keeping a weight-loss journal can help with weight loss by increasing awareness of what you eat and why, and it can help you stay on track with your goals.

There's no right or wrong way to journal for weight loss, but you can try these tips:
Write down everything you eat and drink: Record what you eat and drink as soon as you consume it, including small amounts and leftovers. Take a picture of your plate if it is easier. Be aware of your nutritional goals. Follow your meal plans.
Track your activity: You can include a log of your exercises in your journal.
Set goals: You can use your journal to set goals for your weight loss.
Plan your meals: You can use your journal to plan your meals.
Be consistent: Use your journal consistently to get the most benefit.
Keeping a written record of your weight loss story can be powerful, whether you make it public by posting items here or keep it private in a journal. Take pictures or use online trackers if they help you track what you are eating. Logging your workouts can keep your motivation going on tougher days. Keeping track of the amount of water you are drinking can ensure that you are getting enough servings in each day.

I lost 2 lbs and am happy about that! Back to normal eating and tracking...it feels good!
Thursday we went shopping with Mom and Belinda... Kohl's for Mom's returns and Living Spaces for Belinda to find a coffee table.
Yesterday we hung out with Belinda and went to Home Goods then met up with Mom to eat at Islands. We went back to her house and played Rummikub all night.
Today I'm going through finances and gathering up end of the year tax stuff. We'll meet up the others later for movies or games.
Enjoy your weekend!!

I got most of my quarterlies and w2's done yesterday now to finish up the year end bookeeping so I can get the big tax returns out of my way. It's a lot but I will get there.. Did cardiac rehab this morning and then had an appointment with my regular doctor. Happy with my numbers and liver enzymes so that was good. My A1C dropped to 5.5 so really happy with that. Cholesterol was finally good. I had a hip x-ray but I am thinking it is just bursitis and not a bone issue. My upper back has been killing me and she said it was really tight. Not sure if it is the weight portion of CR or something else. We are heading to Vegas in the morning so have healthy snacks packed and ready to go. Have to help Jeremy get ready for the Hero Expedition banquet this afternoon so better get my wo…
Woo Hoo! It's Friday!!!
Groceries are ordered. Picking up more lemonade tonight and getting more critter food for my squirrels, birds and deer. My squirrels are having lunch right now. The place that I watch in Indiana has been having some beautiful cardinals and black squirrels today. It is the simple things that give me pleasure.
Not much else going on. Lost a pound this week. The sun is shining. Christmas is coming down this weekend so I can get my house back to some type of normalcy. Hoping to ship hubby off to his mom this afternoon. Need to get him back in that routine. I survived my first week back to work. Getting back in the swing.
Enjoy…
Not much new here. Just been trying to get back in the swing of work again. Got all the messages answered yesterday. Took me all day. We are scheduled 2 weeks out again. Now to get my bookkeeping caught up.
I'm going to start decluttering around here too. Sick of all the stuff. And trying to figure out a cleaning routine so I don't have to kill my knees cleaning all day.
Had our youth meeting at work and will be transitioning out of my leadership role. Our new DCE started and she will take over but right now she is learning the ropes. I am looking forward to doing less but as of now, still doing it all with…
