Holiday Stress Reliever

Many times we do not take care of ourselves during the holidays because we are too stressed out with all of the shopping, wrapping, parties, decorating, traveling, year-end work, and other tasks on top of our normal everyday activities.
Let's share some ideas about how to relax and relieve some of the stress the holidays can cause. Post here what you did today to unwind. Make it a priority to take at least 10 minutes out of your busy schedule for some well deserved "me" time.

Homework project:
Prepare two lists: “Nice To Do For Me" and “Need to Do For You” lists.
Writing down all that you have to do during the holidays will help you realize how doable your tasks are. Be realistic as to what you put on your lists. Then start tackling one item from each list in turn. For example, after buying gifts for your kids or significant other, take time to work out, too. By alternating between lists, you won’t feel deprived, because you’re being good to yourself.
Add items shared to your “Nice To Do For Me” list. Repeat favorites from your list. Some can take a minute or two to complete. Others may take a half hour or more to do. We love our to-do lists. Let’s not forget to have a list to take care of ourselves too!

Share your "Nice To Do For Me" Ideas
This is where we can help each other to find ideas for what we can do to de-stress our holidays. A quiet cup of coffee curled up with a good book, a new lotion, deep breathing, or even an outing to look at Christmas lights. Make sure that you are taking the time from all of those Need To Do items to enjoy some Nice To Do items for yourself. Enjoy the holidays!

Tonight will probably be Godfather's pizza so I don't have to cook and binging Fire Country.
