Christmas Goodies

When we hear the term "Christmas Goodies" our minds quickly go to all of the sweet cookies and desserts that are present at this time of the year. This thread is a way to rethink what we consider to be goodies. We all know that many healthy foods can be filled with so much flavor and can even be seen as a treat. A delicious soup, a special casserole, fancier-made vegetables, sweet apples and oranges, etc.


This is a continuation of our meal planning thread. Let's help each other plan out delicious meals that tempt out taste buds to gravitate towards healthier "goodies" instead of the sweet treats.

What's on the Menu?

So to help us stay on track, post what you are eating that is keeping you within your goals. Share your favorite recipes. Offer ideas on how to make family favorites a little healthier. We do understand that it can be difficult to track every meal, especially if you are eating out or with friends (and don't know what is in each dish), however, even snapping a pic of your meal can help you to remember what you are eating. Does it look like a healthy meal that is full of yummy goodness?
